Designer, Yuly Springer was born and raised in San Francisco. She moved from Antioch to Los Banos in 2001. In Los Banos, Yuly and her family have found a wonderful mix of both American and Hispanic culture that fits her family’s needs. She is a mother of 4, a Cancer survivor, has volunteered with the Los Banos Police department and was a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Kaljian and Assoc.

In 2007 Los Banos celebrated their Centennial; Yuly joined the Henry Miller Wild West Festival committee. By joining she discovered her love for Victorian wears and taught herself to sew. In 2008 she joined SASS; Single Action Shooting Society, and focused on dress competitions. She was crowned 2 years running at SASS End of Trail 2008 and 2009 Soiled Dove contest placing 1st.

In 2009 she placed 1st at SASS Convention for Dodge City Best Dress. This gave her the motivation to open her own shop and expand her corset design lines. ButterflyFrillies shoppers include SASS Members, Steampunks, Costumers, Re-enactors, Brides and Collectors, among many others.
